Since I will be too busy/out of town to post tomorrow... I'll post my Happy Halloween today! I had a wonderfully fun birthday/Halloween party last night with some great friends & family. I can't wait for trick-or-treaters tonight and going to Ponca tomorrow! Enjoy the lovely fall weekend :)

Today was Recipe Club- we make some delicious food (I made pumpkin chocolate chip squares)! I want to spend as much quality time with all the friends I have ... especially now if I end up moving away next year for grad school... it will be happy and sad all in one!
I spent a wonderful Friday night and Saturday in Tulsa with my mom. Anthro was a little overwhelming, but we made it out alive and with money to spare, lol.
I found out recently that some one I used to dance with at UCO (Dillon Honiker) is now dancing professionally in NYC with a dance company... wish I could go... he is awesome! (That is him on the poster!)
My last thought of this blog: I found the perfect decoration for Erin's baby boy's nursery:

Today is the beginning of my (sort of) Fall Break. I didn't have to teach my 3 dance classes tonight, so Austin and I went to Deep Fork Grill... DELICIOUS!
And tomorrow I'll most likely get off work early... to go on a mother-daughter trip to Tulsa! The only definite stops are Anthropologie, Kokoa, and a concert!
By the way, yesterday (on my day off) Austin & I visited Green Goodies by Tiffany... organic and vegan cupcakes. They were amazing. You must go. I know $3.25/cupcake is ridiculous... but I don't really care when it tastes that good :)
Oh, and check out this neat blog I stumbled upon!
Now I'm off to do some P90X yoga... considering all of this delicious cupcake & chocolate eating going on :)

Cats are hilarious. My cats are no exception. Dan would do pretty much anything for a tiny nibble of food, and Zoe gets freaked out easily, but at the same time she can be very feisty... she always gets her way (before we named her "Zoe", we called her "Princess"). I could totally see Zoe doing this (Dan would be too lazy... and he'd be busy searching for food scraps):

So, going to bed is one of my favorite times of the day. Bed is so cozy, especially after a tiresome day. I am very particular about having things in the bedroom clutter-free... it helps me relax and not be stressed about a messy house. Last night I actually got a full 8 hours of sleep... glorious! Here are some of my favorite bedrooms.
I'm about to go to bed after I write this post... can't wait :)

This post will be short. Zoe is sleeping on me so I am typing with one hand! She is such a stinker… a cute stinker!
So far this weekend I have:
01. Had a home-cooked meal with my husband.
02. Got nearly free stuff (under $2) at the mall with coupons.
03. Slept in until 8:30.
04. Watched excellent episodes of House and The Office.
05. Gained two dance classes to teach.
06. Attended Mistletoe Market with my someday-sister-in-law. (And got yummy free food samples and bought a couple gifts!)
07. Found two dogs and returned them to their owners.
08. Ate a delicious pumpkin cookie.
Now I'm off to make more laundry detergent and pick up a piano book I ordered!
Enjoy your lovely weekend!

At this point in time, I would be so very happy if all things could be straightforward and simple. Work, Relationships, everything. I feel like too many people (including myself at times) slightly bend the truth or omit things they really want to say to make things appear fine and dandy (when really, they are not fine and dandy). This makes me think of the movie "The Invention of Lying"... it seems so appealing in so many ways! I hate having to tip-toe around people. Lets be honest!
Anyway, I am off to teach some ballet! I am severely bruised from aerial rehearsal last night. It is painful but definitely worth it! Have a lovely Friday tomorrow!

I can't believe it is October already. I love it! I've taken a jacket with me to work and about for the past week now. And we've opened windows- the cats love it. Ponce spent most of Saturday in the backyard- loving it. And I bought some pumpkins on Saturday for decoration (2 of them for carving)! Now I can't wait to light up some candles and enjoy some snow :)
