Oh how I do love Austin. I can't believe we've been married 1 1/2 years. I can't believe we've been together nearly 6 years. The love is still there and stronger than ever! Sometimes I wish we could relive this glorious day... wouldn't it be wonderful if that was a tradition for every anniversary!? And we could wear a new wedding dress each time :) ...

I started my new job this last week at Westminster working with little kids... they are so fun and full of surprises! I can tell I'm going to enjoy it... especially the free weekend aspect. I forgot what a weekend really was!
Anyway, here are a few of my recent musings from the world wide web... ...
Some day when I have my own home I'd like to have natural lighting everywhere... I love the sunlight! (From dress, design, decor)
What gorgeous earrings by Olia...
And I LOVE this Vera Wang outfit...

Wednesdays are always a bit frantic...
Sell shoes, teach hip hop, teach tap, take aerial dance class, rehearse, go home, sleep!
Ok, blog then sleep.
Anywho, We're tied for the 4th spot on the honeymoon contest. You can vote daily on http://honeymoons.marthastewartweddings.com/ so help us out if you haven't already :) "Our Amazing Greek Honeymoon by Leslie".
My husband started his blog! Go here and check it out :) He's pretty awesome and clever.
On a tap dance for one of my classes we're using "Shake Your Tail Feather"... this mask would be very appropriate! Or it would be lovely for a masquerade...

Oh how I wish I was back in Greece with no work schedule for a week and delicious spaghetti at every restaurant! Austin & I entered a honeymoon contest on marthastewartweddings.com... if you could vote to help us out that would be wonderful! You can also see some other neat honeymoons :) Go HERE. It is titled "Our Amazing Greek Honeymoon, by Leslie" and I think it is still on the first page of honeymoons. Now for some more daydreaming...

I've been off a few days... not busy this time, just working a short shift at the shoe store, rehearsing 4 hours on Sunday, and watching one of my new favorite movies: "Up". It was AWESOME.
Anyway, I got a new job that starts next Tuesday! I'm a little tired of the retail business... at least in this state. I'm going to be working in a daycare with kids- I really do love teaching kids to dance so hopefully I'll enjoy this as well. Oh how I'd love to dance with this company some day... Janice Garrett & Dancers based in San Francisco, CA. They are amazing. I went to their summer intensive in 2008 and I'm hoping to be able to go again this summer... fingers crossed! (Photos all from janicegarrettanddancers.org. Photos by RJ Muna.)
I often search blogs simply for inspiring or charming pictures. Here are a couple I fell in love with recently: (sorry, I can't remember the sources!)
Boy am I ready for spring with all of this snow! And once spring comes and it is scorching hot I'll be ready for snow again :) Here is the swimsuit I got on clearance from Anthro... can't wait to wear it this summer!
And here is my Anthro pick-of-the-day: The 'Around the World Lampshade'... glorious!

I recently got a free sample of this Befine Food Skin Care Exfoliating Cleanser and I love it. I have never found a face wash, or really ANY skin care product that I loved and could actually tell a difference when I used it. This I do! It makes my skin incredibly soft and it cleared some blemishes plus it feels great when you use it. Anyway, it was hard to find but I ended up buying it at Hocks.com... hopefully it will come in the mail soon!

The BEST chocolate chip cookie recipe ever:
2 sticks butter, softened
3/4 C brown sugar
3/4 C granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 C all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 12-oz. bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
Combine all ingredients in order listed.
Put small spoonfuls on greased baking sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes each.
I just recited that recipe by memory. It was one of the first ones my mom ever had me help her with (they were and are my favorite cookies). It is off of the Nestle Toll-House chocolate chip bags. They really are wonderful- I made some last night!

If you haven't heard it before, listen to a song titled that by the Mountain Goats. It is great.
I got an email from ReadyMade magazine today that inspired me to purchase this picture by Claudia Pearson from Etsy:
Isn't it great!?
I am also always receiving emails (or 'junk email' as Austin refers to it) from shoe retailers. I loved shoes before I worked at a shoe store, so now the problem has only escalated. Austin counted the number of pairs of shoes I own the other day and it is so absurd I am not going to tell you what it was. It was THAT absurd. I think I'll be having a garage sale this summer to donate some of them I don't need or wear any longer.
Here are a few I'd buy if $300 was nothing to me (although how does anyone purchase shoes for $300 and not blink an eye!?)...
